Services include forensic plumbing inspections related to reported claims of loss.

Prospective matters begin with a brief preliminary consultation to discuss the case and determine overall substance, scope, and suitability for engagement.

Upon approval, all relevant documents associated with the matter will be requested for review. A consulting agreement and W-9 will then be issued between V Ferrara Consulting and the retaining firm.

An inspection date and time will be scheduled by mutual agreement. The consulting agreement will outline the scope of services, including the initial inspection and preparation of a written report, if requested.

Deposition and trial testimony are billed separately and are not included in the initial engagement. Please refer to the consulting agreement for a detailed fee schedule.

All expert witness and litigation consulting services provided by V Ferrara Consulting LLC are governed by a formal Consulting Agreement executed between the firm and the retaining attorney or client representative.

• A Consulting Agreement and W-9 are issued prior to scheduling services.
• Services proceed only after execution of the agreement and receipt of the required retainer.

Consulting services may include:

• Forensic plumbing inspections
• Plumbing causation and failure analysis
• Document and report review
• Expert opinions and written reports (if requested)

• A minimum retainer is required prior to commencement of services.
• Retainers apply toward professional time and, where applicable, written reporting.
• Additional time is billed at the agreed hourly rate.
• Deposition and trial testimony are billed separately and are not included in the initial engagement.

• Court appearances, depositions, trial testimony, preparation time, and travel are billed in accordance with the Consulting Agreement.
• Minimum appearance fees and advance retainers apply.
• Expedited or short-notice requests may be subject to additional charges.

• Payment is required in advance for inspections, depositions, and trial services.
• The retaining party remains responsible for payment regardless of reimbursement or payment by opposing counsel.

All materials reviewed and opinions rendered are treated as confidential attorney work product, subject to the terms of the Consulting Agreement.
